History of the Fellowship
The Amazing Grace Fellowship of Churches was founded by Dr. Howard D. Blakeney on November 1, 2014.
Dr. Blakeney was motivated by our Lord Jesus Christ to found the fellowship due to his departure from a U.S. denomination after 18 years as a pastor and two years as a bishop after major doctoral differences.

seeks to create welcoming places where people can encounter Christ, be encouraged in their faith, and become part of a caring Christian community.
A central part of the Fellowship’s ministry is its support for pastors, ministers, and independent churches. Amazing Grace Fellowship of Churches provides relationship-based guidance, leadership support, ministry encouragement, and fellowship for churches that desire connection without losing their local identity. This includes helping churches and leaders grow stronger in their calling, ministry structure, spiritual development, and service to their communities.
The Fellowship also places a strong emphasis on youth and family ministry. Through children’s services, youth events, recognition of academic achievement, and access to crisis counseling, Amazing Grace Fellowship of Churches seeks to care for young people spiritually, emotionally, and socially. The Fellowship recognizes that the next generation needs encouragement, safe relationships, biblical guidance, and practical support as they navigate the challenges of growing up.
In addition, Amazing Grace Fellowship of Churches is connected to biblical education and ministry training through Amazing Grace Bible College. This educational emphasis reflects the Fellowship’s commitment to equipping believers and developing Christian leaders who can serve the church and the world with wisdom, faithfulness, and sound doctrine.
Overall, Amazing Grace Fellowship of Churches offers a ministry of worship, fellowship, pastoral support, church covering, leadership development, youth care, biblical teaching, and spiritual encouragement. Its heart is to help people meet the risen Lord, strengthen the body of Christ, and support churches and leaders as they carry out the work of ministry.
